The Oracle Cloud Technical Lead Instructs and leads the day-to-day work for the Oracle technical analysts. The role performs all work related to impact assessment for upgrades, system enhancements, projects and application break fix scenarios. The Oracle Cloud Technical Lead will drive solutions based on industry best practices, efficient processing and business implications for the AHS Oracle Cloud platform known as AtlanticHub. This position will drive solution design and development based on business requirements delivered from functional analysts. The Oracle Cloud Tech Lead will prioritize, organize, and assess work to meet target dates and align with the AtlanticHub release schedule.
The Oracle Cloud Tech Lead is also responsible for the design, configuration and support for data extracts and related reports for the Oracle Cloud platform.
A successful candidate will have the following characteristics
- Strong and broad understanding of IT technical components, including integration.
- Solid interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations.
In partnership with the Delivery Release Manager, ensure technical team and all related work is prepared and ready for regular software releases. Perform impact assessments for upgrades, facilitate testing with the business users, and update documentation. - Lead the resolution for technical incidents. Validate the prioritization and categorization of tickets, changes, and enhancements with the business and Oracle functional team. Design solutions for reports, integrations, and workflow technologies. Support the design, build and testing of new reports, integrations, BI Publisher, FRS, and OTBI.
- Support and participate in all application testing required for upgrades, incidents, enhancements and projects. Ensure all related documentation is kept current.
- Lead and participate in discussions with Oracle Functional track leads and business stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide technical solutions that are based on industry best practice.
- Assist in the creation and readiness for Oracle environment refresh plans, schedules and ensure refresh steps occur with a high degree of accuracy
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to junior resources and team members.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Work Requirements
* BS or BA degree, computer science or business or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systems is required.
* Minimum of ten years of experience in Oracle Cloud.
* Expert in Oracle Cloud technologies - OTBI, BIP, FastFormulas, Integrations tools (OIC or other leading middleware products) including Workflow builder
* Expert knowledge of the Oracle Cloud database structure and strong working knowledge within Finance, HCM and SCM
* Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.
* Demonstrated knowledge with integrations within the Oracle Cloud modules
* Experience with the Service Now Incident Management platform
* Ability to lead a team of 3-5 developers to efficiently plan their work and monitor progress to ensure on time delivery
* Effective project management skills including establishing and maintaining detailed project plans, scope, requirements, timelines and coordinated delivery
* Experience reporting to and communicating with C-level client contacts, managing client teams both on-site and off-site resources
