We are seeking to hire an Application Analyst II. The candidate will participate as a member of the Business Applications team in the IT department providing functional support for enterprise applications. This role will focus on supporting Supply Chain functions and related applications including, but not limited to, Medsphere's Healthline (SCM), PeopleSoft FMS, Concur, and Contracts+. This position works closely with the Accounting/Finance and Supply Chain operational users.
A successful candidate will be the functional expert and bridge between business users and developers and will drive delivery of business solutions that leverage existing systems technology and best practices. The candidate must be inquisitive, detail oriented, and highly motivated, and they must possess excellent communications skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing, environment.
Responsibilities
- Builds, tests, manages, and supports application security.
- Designs and builds tier one technical support processes, such as break fix, troubleshooting, and systems change management.
- Designs, builds, manages, and supports tier 2 technical support processes.
- Builds and manages training.
- Builds and manages technical documentation.
- Complies with all regulatory mandates, as applicable.
- Designs system configuration.
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Work with business partners to understand and develop clear and defined problem statements
- Build and foster effective relationships with internal and external business partners
- Gather and analyze information about a problem to identify requirements and a path forward
- Utilize problem management, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Evaluate and develop recommendations to meet problem statements
- Analyze stakeholder needs and develop recommendations for a path forward
- Organize information and present it to various levels of stakeholders
- Develop and track to work breakdown structures for their assignments
- Function as point of contact for vendors; support system enhancements when required.
- Stay informed of upcoming projects that may impact usage of new operational systems; analyze impacts and escalate to leadership.
- Supports application security.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of IT experience; preferably in a health care setting
- Ability to organize and present information to various levels of stakeholders
- Advanced technical capability
- Clear and concise documentation of requirements, specifications, and recommendations
- Strong communication skills both written and orally
- Comfortable presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to coordinate, balance and manage multiple requests and prioritities
- Meeting facilitation
- Strong organizational skills
PREFERRED
- Bachelor's degree in related field plus 3+ years of PeopleSoft FMS or Healthline (Censeo) SCM experience OR 6+ years of equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience gathering and documenting requirements for system configuration.
- Experience in systems or business analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- High degree of organization, with a focus on documentation and knowledge continuity.
- Experience training end users and working with individuals at varying technical skill levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate system releases and troubleshooting.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and understand their dependencies.
- Experience troubleshooting application functionality and providing effective technical support.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build confidence and trust with end-users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Basic understanding of system configuration options, workflow methodologies, and reporting.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the importance of best practices in configuration changes and upgrades.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $93,100.80 to $139,630.40 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
