Position Summary This position will provide short-term comprehensive psychotherapy services in-person and via telehealth for MSU employees (faculty, staff, graduate student employees, and retirees) and their benefits-eligible family members. The services provided by the counselor include but are not limited to clinical assessment; short-term counseling (1 to 6 sessions) to individuals, couples, and/or families; case management; and referral services for clients that require services beyond those provided by the EAP. The counselor will plan and implement supportive group services, workshops, wellness classes, and/or other sessions to help targeted populations develop knowledge and skills to respond to or prevent emotional problems.
