This position is located at the Stanford Redwood City Campus, and will be considered for an option of hybrid work (splitting time between on-site and remote work) or remote work, subject to operational need.
Your focus:
As a Oracle HCM Solutions Analyst in the Client Services group within University Human Resources (UHR), you will be responsible for collaborating with UHR leaders and stakeholders to identify and implement process and system solutions while ensuring the effective delivery of HR services. The Solution Analyst will play a key role in our upcoming Oracle HCM implementation by applying functional knowledge and expertise in designing modern day solutions to our HR needs in the areas of Core Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management and Recruiting .
The Solutions Analyst is a key technical adviser to the HR organization and will be expected to maintain knowledge of HR market trends, applications and services in order to do so. The incumbent must be able to articulate technology and service positioning and business value through presentations and solution demonstration. They will identify key business needs and research process and system solutions for meeting those needs.
The Solutions Analyst will collaborate with HR Solution Architect and HR Solution Team members to architect and deliver solutions. They will regularly evaluate systems, monitor the progress and measure success metrics and make recommendations for advancements and improvements. CORE DUTIES:
Lead the elicitation and gathering of business and system requirements.
Lead efforts to ensure that information systems support the organizational mission and objectives and coordinate the process of defining, investigating and solving problems related to business systems and special projects.
Manage, from a client business perspective, the requirements for related systems projects; ensure a high level of client satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information systems to the organization.
Lead and coordinate projects to assist business owners in evaluating the potential for automating existing or proposed work functions or processes and assess the feasibility of creating or modifying systems to meet user requirements.
May plan, direct, coordinate, monitor and review the work of others during all phases of the project team's work and coordinate the planning, development and presentation of training for users of business systems.
Manage external vendor or partner relationships. HR technology projects, conduct discovery sessions with HR and campus stakeholders to build relationships and understand their requirements.
Gain, maintain, and demonstrate deep knowledge of the University's HCM solutions to maintain credibility with stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver value-based HCM software demonstrations.
Partner with Change Management resources to develop a training approach and end user enablement for process / technology projects.
Assist with composing and developing materials including but not limited to: Presentations, Meeting follow-up materials covering HCM solutions to stakeholders, Demo content creation and management as needed, System guide creation and management as needed
The expected pay range for this position is $125,000 to $154,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
This position will also be a key contributor to the evolution of the Pinnacle Systems Replacement, partnering on identifying and documenting system implementation requirements and rollout of the new System.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and eight years relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in enterprise HCM cloud systems design and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Oracle HCM implementation experience is a plus
Deep HR and Talent Management experience and knowledge a plus
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Current knowledge of rapidly changing computer technology.
Extensive experience with enterprise applications and understanding of database driven applications.
Ability to design and document complex business systems.
Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
Project management skills as needed.
Skill in conducting interviews and facilitating group meetings.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
Strong listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone.
Rarely writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
