Purpose of this position is to administer the PeopleSoft applications. This includes managing the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the application server; monitoring the process scheduler; researching problems to determine the appropriate solution; monitoring the release of PeopleSoft patches, upgrades and fixes and assessing the impact on the current environment; working with users to determine which upgrades are mandatory or urgent; migrating projects through the various environments; enforcing the documentation standards that have been established; developing a detailed project plan for migrating patches and fixes through the various environments; consulting with management on complex application projects, software, work methods or procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience or associate's degree and 4 years of related experience or high school diploma and 6 years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field and At least four (4) experience years performing duties similar to those described above & using specific technical tools or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator, with PS version 9.0+.
Experience & proficiency with PeopleTool & other PeopleSoft tools noted.
Experience in analysis, design & development of technical architectures & infrastructure to support PeopleSoft implementations.
Experience in administration of multi-platform distributed processing environments.
Experience maintaining multiple versions of PeopleTool & PeopleSoft applications.
Experience in debugging complex infrastructure, application & database-related issues.
Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, CS.
Experience with Oracle DBA tasks.
Experience with Oracle 12c, 19c
Experience in Higher Education & knowledge of Higher Education business practices
Hands-On experience with Portal Technologies – Configure and maintain key features of Portal such as Homepages, Portal Sites, Content Management, Portal Registry, Pagelets, and Navigation Collections.
Hands-On experience with PeopleTools – Competency with PeopleSoft Development Tools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, App Packages, Work Centers, Dashboards, Workflow. Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid Development: Fluid Pages, Tiles, Landing Pages, Dashboards, Fluid Approval and Notifications
Hands-On experience with Integration Broker – Integration Gateways, Service Operations, Messages, Handlers, Routings and Monitoring. Integrate new interfaces and messaging for the Interaction Hub. Implement integration between PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, HCM, CS and FSCM applications.
The ability to work with large databases.
